Compatibility/Device Support
Funambol open source software is based on open standards and is designed to be as compatible with as many server and client technologies as possible. Built on portable technologies such as Java, J2EE and Java ME, the Funambol open source code base can be easily adapted and extended to nearly any deployment environment.
Funambol passed interoperability tests at the OMA 2005 TestFest in Madrid and 2006 TestFest in Montreal (both OMA DS and DM, including push email). Results are available here.
