myFUNAMBOL is a free 90 day open source mobile cloud sync and push email demo service. It provides mobile email and over-the-air sync
of contacts and calendars for billions of phones.
Please note that myFUNAMBOL is not intended to substitute for Internet portals or mobile services offered by Funambol customers. Rather, it is a demo site that illustrates how Funambol performs mobile cloud sync and push email. For new users, its use is limited to 90 days. For users prior to version 8 (the current version), there is no time limit. After 90 days, a user's account will be closed and they can decide if they would like to use a similar service from a Funambol customer. Please note that the reason for this 90 day limit is because the new portal is highly attractive and our customers do not want Funambol to make it available for free indefinitely while they charge for their services. Users who are active in the Funambol community can have their accounts extended indefinitely. Please also note that while myFUNAMBOL can perform push email using multiple methods for billions of phones on hundreds of networks, as this is a demonstration site, push email is only enabled for selected devices and networks. Use of myFUNAMBOL is free, however, if you perform over-the-air sync, you need a data plan for your mobile network. Without one, you may incur costly data charges.
