
Fabrizio Capobianco is CEO of Funambol, Inc., the leading provider of open source mobile cloud sync and push email solutions for billions of phones. Fabrizio has extensive expertise in the mobile industry, with work experience that includes Reuters and Tibco. He is a successful entrepreneur, having founded the first Italian Web company in 1994 as well as a developer of an information portal with customers that included Kraft, Novartis, Italian Broadcasting Television and the Italian Stock Exchange. Fabrizio has taught university courses on mobile and holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Pavia, Italy, with a focus on usability. He has been recognized as a top '40 under 40' high tech leader and a mobile visionary. He writes a blog that was voted among the best in the industry by FierceWireless. Martin Enriquez oversees Funambol's sales strategy and customer relationships in Europe, the Americas and Asia/Pac. Prior to Funambol, Martin was General Manager and Senior Vice President of the Americas at Good/Visto, where he significantly increased sales and active users. Prior to Good, Martin spent more than a decade at Vodafone where he held multiple positions including Vice President, Americas Region; Chief Operating Officer, Vodafone Egypt; and Director of International Marketing. He has also worked in sales and marketing at AT&T and Dexterra. Marty holds an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business and a Master's in Education from Stanford.

Rony Greenberg is responsible for corporate strategy and identifying business development opportunities for Funambol, including partnerships and customer relationships where mobile open source software can increase the quality and ubiquity of mobile applications. Greenberg has 20 years of experience working in sales and biz dev management positions. Most recently, he was EVP of Sales and Business Development for IXI Mobile where he oversaw strategy, sales and biz dev. Prior to IXI Mobile, Greenberg was Director of Strategic Investment for Intel where he had worldwide responsibility for equity and acquisition deal sources in the wireless segment for Intel Capital. Before Intel, Greenberg was VP of Sales and Marketing for DSP Communications where he drove revenue to $170 million and was instrumental in the sale of DSPC to Intel for $1.6 billion.

Stefano Fornari is the leading contributor and project manager of Funambol, the open source mobile application server based on the Open Mobile Alliance Data Synchronization and Device Management standards (popularly known as the SyncML standard). Prior to his development work on Funambol, Fornari was chief architect at Stigma Online where he played a key role in the development of the company’s flagship portal product, SolWeb Intra. He has also held positions at Compaq, where he was an advisor on wireless technologies in PDAs, and at Art Technology Group (ATG) as a consultant. He holds an M.S. in Computer Science.

Hal Steger is Vice President of Worldwide Marketing at Funambol. He has more than 20 years of international marketing experience at high-growth, innovative software companies. Prior to Funambol, he was responsible for worldwide marketing at Scalix, a leading provider of open systems messaging. Before Scalix, Steger co-founded and was VP Marketing of Rubric, where he positioned the company as the leader in the new category of Marketing Automation. Rubric was acquired for $370M. Prior to Rubric, Hal held product management and product marketing positions at Oracle, Uniface/Compuware, and other high profile Silicon Valley companies. He holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan with a double major in Computer Science and Economics, and an M.S.I.A. (MBA) degree from Carnegie-Mellon's Tepper School of Business (formerly GSIA).

Ata Rasekhi is responsible for market research, definition and delivery of Funambol's mobile open source platform and products. Rasekhi brings with him 16 years of product management and product marketing experience and a proven track record of building and launching industry-leading software products. Prior to Funambol, Rasekhi was the Director of Product Management at Scalix, a leading provider of email and collaboration software for Linux and open systems. Before Scalix, Rasekhi ran a successful consulting firm delivering product management and marketing services to various high profile startups. Prior to consulting, Rasekhi held senior product management and product marketing positions at Remedy, Lotus Development, and cc:Mail. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Kincy is responsible for all aspects of Funambol operations, including professional services, technical support and IT. He brings over a decade of startup and large company experience to Funambol, as he has managed technical support, professional services, software engineering and IT functions. Before Funambol, Kincy held several positions at TIBCO/Reuters, including Director of Support Operations. Kincy also served as Company Commander in the California Army National Guard.

Dror Matalon is is responsible for R&D of future technology that will be incorporated into Funambol's software. Dror joins the company as part of the Zapatec acquisition. Dror was founder and CEO of Zapatec, which he started in 2002 with the vision of providing an online platform to build web apps. Zapatec became a leading provider of AJAX web 2.0 frameworks. Prior to Zapatec, Dror was founder and President of an internet service provider that grew to include more than 10,000 business customers. He also worked on the technical staff at Informix Corporation for many years and holds multiple degrees.

Marc Munford brings more than 15 years of software startup experience to Funambol. Most recently, Munford worked as the vice president of sales and director of enterprise accounts for Visto. Prior to Visto, Munford was a cofounder of NetDrive.com, an early leading Internet personal storage technology vendor. He has also held a variety of sales and business development roles at software technology companies including Orative, Insignia Solutions, NetManage and Wollongong.
