Responsibilities
- Manage, lead and grow the Funambol open source community
- Create and manage innovative open source community programs
- Perform product support in response to feedback and requests for information
- Represent the community's needs and interests with Funambol Engineering
- Grow and manage the Funambol Forge and related infrastructure
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge/Personal Suitability
- Technical undergraduate degree, preferably in Computer Science
- Track record of participating in and building open source communities
- Knowledge of open source products, practices, licenses
- Open source software development experience
- Desired: technical understanding of mobile software, especially Funambol
- Software startup and established software company experience
- Strong communication & teamwork skills, with English as a primary language
- Results-oriented with get-it-done now attitude
