John Roberts is the Chairman, CEO, and Co-Founder of SugarCRM and is a pioneer in the open source enterprise application space having co-led the product design of Sugar Open Source. With strong business, marketing, business development and product management experience, he has introduced open source as the only viable contender to the established proprietary CRM solutions. John brings a strong enterprise CRM applications track record spanning 14 years which has helped make him the leading voice for open source CRM technologies. Prior to co-founding SugarCRM, he held product management and sales engineering positions at E.piphany, BroadVision, Baan/Aurum Software and IBM.
Bob Bickel is an active Advisor or Board Member to several companies including Arjuna, Apax Partners, Bristol Technology, Funambol, Hyperic, Jaspersoft, and JBoss. He was the EVP of Strategy and Corporate Development at JBoss from September 2003 through February 2006, helping to found the Professional Open Source business model, build the management team, and create meaningful partnerships with leading IT companies. Prior to founding Bickel Advisory Services, Bob was the GM of the HP Middleware Division and EVP of Products for Bluestone Software (acquired by HP in January 2001). Bob was one of the original creators who brought Bluestone's application server technology to the marketplace.
Andrew Aitken is the Founder and Managing Partner of Olliance Group. He has over 18 years senior management experience in building and leading national professional services companies. In 2001, Andrew founded Olliance Group with other industry veterans to provide management and business strategy consulting to companies leveraging open source. He is on the Board of Directors of the Open Source Software Institute and the SDForum, and is Chair of their annual Open Source Conference. Andrew is on the Board of Advisors of SugarCRM, Funambol and Krugle, and has personally advised firms including Sun, Intel, Nokia, and numerous VCs and startups on their open source strategies.
Paolo Huscher is the former Director of IT & Technology Management for Vodafone, CIO of Omnitel and Executive at Wind. He has a strong technical background in Information Systems and Network Technology, including many years of international experience managing large and successful IT and technology organizations in the teleco industry. His background also includes stints at DEC and Honeywell Information Systems. He completed the Scientific Lyceum in Brescia and graduated in Nuclear Engineering, Electronics Specialization, from Milan Polytechnic.
Doug Garland has extensive experience building high-growth businesses in the mobile space. Most recently, as a SVP at Yahoo!, he led the company's mobile initiative, building Yahoo! Mobile into the #1 mobile internet destination. Prior to Yahoo!, Doug served as a VP at Sprint PCS where he led the Carolinas & Virginia regional service launch. Prior to Sprint, he led product marketing for the PacBell Mobile Services and MCI Cellular launches. Doug also was a pioneer in the development of CDMA digital cellular while at PacTel/AirTouch. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BS and ME in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.

He has charted more than 20 years of hands-on experience in telecommunications and mobile services. David led advanced technology and product development teams at AT&T Wireless Services including music, imaging, location-based-services, messaging, and mobile-commerce products. He has held various technology and leadership roles at Sprint, Prime Computer, Dow Jones & Company and is a decorated veteran of the United States Coast Guard. David is also co-author of five patents related to mobile messaging and communications and is a recognized business and technology visionary in the mobile applications and services space.
